Recent highlights include debuts with Kansas City Symphony, Hudson Hall, American Modern Opera Company, Opera Saratoga, and Chautauqua Opera Company.
A 2024 Sullivan Award winner and two-time National Semifinalist in the Metropolitan Opera Laffont Competition, Chuanyuan has also earned recognition from Opera Index, Pasadena Vocal Competition, and others. He holds graduate degrees from the University of Cincinnati and Bard College.
