Memoirs of a Gaysian explores the unique stories and perspectives of Queer-Asian artists. Highlighting works by queer and Asian composers and librettists, singers Spencer Britten and Chuanyuan Liu and pianist Jeremy Chan juxtapose songs and arias from the standard repertoire with music by living composers.

Liu sings the title role in the world premiere of “Monkey: A Kung Fu Puppet Parable.” The story is based on an ancient Chinese folk tale and uses modern and diverse cultural elements to create a unique rendition of the popular fable.
